Protection of personal data

Your privacy is our priority. That is why we keep your data really private and will only use it to process your order. In order to process an order, it is necessary that we store data in our secure database. We do not share data with third parties other than those directly involved in processing an order.

What information do we need from you, and for what purpose?

First and last name
For good communication and order processing, it is important that we know who the person is who orders and/or to whom the order is addressed.

Address and place of residence
We need your address details to deliver the package to the correct address.

Company name & VAT number
In order to maintain proper VAT administration for our business orders, it is important that we have the company name and the corresponding VAT number.

Phone number(s)
It may be that something is unclear about your order or that something is wrong. In this case, we can also contact you by telephone. Your telephone number will therefore emphatically NOT be used for marketing purposes!

E-mail address
We only use your e-mail address to inform you about your order, or to answer questions and/or comments. If you have registered for our newsletter, you will receive it at the email address you provided. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, you can easily unsubscribe by clicking 'Unsubscribe' at the bottom of the newsletter. We will never send you an unsolicited offer and/or newsletter!

Payment details
We use external Payment Service Providers (PSP) such as PayPal and Mollie payments for online payment of orders. As soon as you choose the desired online payment method, you will be redirected directly to the PSP's secure payment environment. The payment is therefore processed on the secure servers of the PSP in question. We therefore do not store any credit card and/or payment details in our system. We only receive a payment reference and a status update of the payment from the PSP. This allows us to check in our system whether the payment has been completed correctly.

IP address
Unfortunately, not everyone on the Internet is in good faith. That is why our system stores your IP address and visit times so that we can better detect, investigate and prevent possible fraud.

Order history
As a webshop, we have an administration and retention obligation towards the tax authorities. This means that we must keep order details. This has the advantage that you can always see what you previously ordered at a later time.

We also use your data for:

Customer service
You can call and email us and to ensure that we can review what has been communicated at a later time, we save messages and/or notes.

Account
Your 'My account' environment contains your personal information such as name, delivery and billing address, telephone number, login details and order history. You can change your details here and download an invoice if necessary.

Newsletters
You can sign up for our newsletter. For this it is necessary that you select this option yourself or register via the form on our website. Our system will never automatically or 'secretly' check the box for you! If you have registered for our newsletter, you will receive it at the email address you provided. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, you can easily unsubscribe by clicking 'Unsubscribe' at the bottom of the newsletter. We will therefore emphatically never send you an unsolicited offer and/or newsletter!

Reviews
You can help other customers with your review. By sharing your experiences, you give others an even better picture of a product or service. The data from your reviews is stored in our system and shown on the website.

Fraud (prevention)
Unfortunately, in some cases we have to use customer data to investigate, prevent and combat (possible) fraud. If there are clearly fraudulent actions, we are forced to hand over the data to the relevant government agency(s).

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how and when visitors use our online store. The IP addresses remain anonymized. The retention period for visitors and events in Google Analytics is 26 months after the visitor's last activity.

Inspecting and changing your data

Would you like to view your personal data? Or do you want to change or delete data from our system? No problem. You can do this yourself via your 'My account' environment or submit a request to us by post or e-mail.
