Easily prepare delicious, authentic Dutch poffertjes with our professional, ready-to-use poffertjes mix! These small, light and fluffy pancakes are a traditional Dutch speciality, loved by both children and adults. Our professional poffertjes mix has been specially developed for use on a poffertjes griddle, ensuring evenly cooked, wonderfully fluffy pancakes with a perfectly golden finish. With this generous 10 kg pack, you'll have plenty of mix to prepare large quantities of freshly baked poffertjes.

Simply add water, mix briefly until you have a smooth batter, and you're ready to start making delicious, freshly baked poffertjes straight away!

YIELD

With 1 kg of mix, you can make approximately 200 to 250 poffertjes, depending on the type of poffertjes griddle used. This 10 kg bulk pack therefore makes approximately 2,000 to 2,500 poffertjes in total.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Mixing ratio: 1 kg of mix + 1,500 ml of water.

Cooking time: approximately 3 minutes at 220°C.

1. Pour the poffertjes mix into a mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.

2. Gradually add the water while mixing until you have a smooth, even batter.

3. The batter is ready to use immediately, with no resting time required.

4. Preheat the poffertjes griddle to 220°C and lightly grease the moulds with non-stick baking spray.

5. Fill the moulds of the griddle evenly with batter.

6. Turn the poffertjes over once the batter has set on top and the underside is golden brown.

7. Cook for approximately 3 minutes in total, until the poffertjes are golden brown on both sides and fully cooked.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed package. Once prepared, the batter can be stored covered in the refrigerator for approximately 2 to 3 days.
